Watching google stats

you know, it’s a real funny thing.  I still watch all the stats for this blog and it’s downloads.  We’re actually maintaining the same number of listeners, yet we haven’t put out a show in a year.  I keep carrying the torch that Kass will come around and want to do the show again.  If YOU want her back, please call our voice mail at (206) 350-4TML and let her know.  Maybe a whole show of fan mail, just for her, might work.

Anyways, back to the stats.  Would you believe that “this married life” is a huge search term in google?  I’m amazed at the types of searches that people are doing out there regarding marriage.  Mostly benign, some very strange.  We get enough hits that I’m keeping the site up.  Anyone want to buy it and use if for business purposes?

Don’t forget to call Kass and tell her you want her back!

Where have we gone?

Well, the barnuts podcast continues to rock and roll. Open Window Podcast is singing along and The Curbside Investigator is still in business, so what happened to US? That’s a good question and I wish I had an answer. We got sidetracked and just haven’t found the groove to get back into this particular show. If you want us back, please beg. Kass likes that. It turns her on and that’s how I get a little action. Call the hotline at (206) 350-4TML. I wish we had prizes but we don’t. Thanks everyone. I’m trying to get us back, I swear.

Summer’s over and we are just beginning….again

You heard it right. We are back, well, almost. The kids are finally back in school, vacation is over and we just got back from the Portable Media Expo. That means no more distractions and we’re invigorated after hanging out with other podcasters. New hijinks are on the way. Thanks for waiting for us.

This Married Life Show Promo-Share the Love

It’s crazy hot here at the This Married Life nerve center, so we are taking a week long vacation. In the event that we dont’ get a show up before we go, I’m posting a promo we put together. We’re making it available to any podcasters that want to drop it into their show. Of course, let us know about it and we’ll give you a mention on our show too! Hey, we aren’t above a little bribe herre and there.

Quick update! We’re still alive.

Two quickies here. First, I want to let everyone know we are still around and haven’t given up. We’ve had a pile of personal/family issues that we’ve been dealing with in the last couple of weeks that have prevented us from sitting down in front of the microphones. We’ll be back tomorrow, good Lord willing and the creek don’t rise.

2nd, Jason, the genius behind Geekfit.com and everythingtech.tv (and the guy that saves me whenever I hose my website) took a trip to the Orange County Podcasters meetup in Irvine last night. I thought it would be nice to mention some of the people we met and link to their podcasts. Here they are, in order of appearance:
Craig Patchett is the organizer for the OC Podcasters Meetup (as well as the San Diego one too).

• GodCast Network - Craig is the founder of the GodCast Network one of the first podcast networks.
• Behind The Scenes Podcast - Which is an inside look on how a podcast is made. He interviews various podcasters and gets an inside look on how their podcast is made.

Leah and Josh of HoshNasi Productions, they run 2 podcasts:

• Completely Biased - Is a podcast about advice in romance, relationships, manners and they talk about their favorite wine. They did an interview with the people involved in the Stolen Sidekick II that made its rounds online.
• YouBetYourNuts - This podcast is about Texas hold’em, the site wa down as of this writing.

Brian Mundy - is the president of DIMA (Digital Imaging Marketing Association). He’s a great guy to talk to and his show is very informative.

• DIMAcast - Is an Digital Imaging industry podcast. The format is solid and he has a number of top notch interviews one of them being Riya.com which is sort of like Flickr.com but with facial recognition.

Oops! We missed last week.
